The Friends of Quaker Monastery are deeply grateful for donations which enable us to maintain our ministries.
Quaker Monastery is an independent community which does not receive financial support of
any kind from any
church or organization. We rely entirely upon our own work and the generosity
of those who help maintain the community through donations.

But, as much as we dearly need your support,
there is a global spiritual concern, which is also important. Therefore, we make a
special request of thee, dear visitor.
What we request of thee are prayers for peace;
peace in the world, peace in thy community,
peace in thy home, peace in thine own heart and mind.
Pray for peace in all nations, and set an example of peace in thy community and home.
Volunteer. Look carefully to thy community and volunteer in a work that needs
to be done, close to home,
no matter how small.
Cultivate peace in thy home with thy family and children, in thy work place, and with
all those with whom thee has
daily contact. Work hard at it, for peace work is worth the hard work it takes.
Search thine own heart. How does thee cultivate peace in thine own life? For to the
extent thee succeeds
with harvesting inner peace, will thee be a more effective peace-worker in peace work beyond thyself for others.
Please pray for us. We need thy prayers. Spiritual sustenance and strength are some of the most
valuable things on earth.
